FROSTY the snowman was a jolly,happy soul.With a corncob pipe and a button　nose and two eyes made out of coal. フロスティは陽気で明るい雪だるま。とうもろこしの芯でできたパイプを持って、ボタンの鼻、二つの目は石炭で出来ている。

FROSTY the snowman is a fairy tale, they say; He was made of snow, but the children know how he came to life one day. There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found. For when they placed it on his head, he began to dance around! 雪だるまのフロスティなんておとぎ話さと人は言うけれど、子ども達は知っている、雪で出来た彼がある日動きだすのを…きっと子ども達が見つけたふるいシルクハットに魔法があるんだ。だってその帽子を被せたとたん彼は踊り始めたんだ。

Oh! FROSTY the snowman was alive as he could be And the children say he could laugh and play, just the same as you and me.おお！フロスティはキミや僕のように子ども達と一緒に笑ったり、踊ったりできるんだよ。

FROSTY the snowman knew the sun was hot that day, So he said ” Let’s run and we’ll have some fun now,before I melt awayある日フロスティは日差しが強くなったのに気がついた。そこで彼は「ボクが溶けちゃう前に楽しいことしよう！」と言った。

Down to the village, with a broomstick in his hand, Running here and there, all around the square, saying, ” Catch me if you can.手にほうきを持って町に行こう！そこらじゅうを駆け回ろう！「おいかっけこしようよ」と彼は言った。

He led them down the streets of town, right to the traffic cop. And he only paused a moment when he heard him holler,”Stop!彼は子ども達と街の大通りの交通係りのおまわりさんの前にやってきた。おまわりさんに「止まりなさい！」って大きな声で言われても、ちょっと立ち止まっただけだった。

FROSTY the snowman had to hurry on his way, But he waved goodbye, saying,” Don’t you cry,l’ll be back again someday.だってフロスティは先を急いでたから、みんなにさよならと手を振って「泣かないで、いつの日かまた戻ってくるから。」と言った。
